<p>1. Please check the network status of the TSCLOUD system. If the users want to view the cameras remotely, <span class="wysiwyg-color-red"><strong>the status must be connected</strong></span>.  It could be checked on the<strong> Main Menu&#8211;&gt;Version&gt;Nat Status.</strong><br />

<p>2. Download the software on your PC named <strong>VMS. </strong>Here is the download link:</p>

<p>3. Run the software and set up a password for the software. It is better to enable <strong>Auto Login.</strong></p>

<p>4. Set up Password Protection in case you forgot the login password.</p>

<p>5. Click the <strong>Device and Add. </strong>Then please choose <strong>TSCloud</strong> as the method to add.</p>

<p>6. Input the information about your DVR. <strong>The password is the login password of your DVR, not the login password of the software.</strong></p>

<p>If it is not connected, please try the below troubleshooting:</p>
<p>1. Make sure the receiver is connected to a router via ethernet cable. You can try to change another ethernet cable and another router port to check.<br />

<p>2. Go to<strong> Main Menu&#8211;Network</strong>, uncheck &#8216;<strong>DHCP</strong>&#8216; and change the Primary DNS to <strong>&#8220;8.8.8.8</strong><strong>&#8220;,</strong> then click &#8216;<strong>Apply</strong>&#8216;. Then please check the<strong> Nat Status</strong> again.<br />

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Your recorder comes with a pre-installed 3.5&#8243; SATA hard drive. You can replace the hard drive with one up to a maximum size of 10TB.</p>

<h2>Section 1 &#8211; Replacing hard drive on newer models</h2>
<p><strong>IMPORTANT: The instruction in this section is applicable to the following products (if you have an older recorder, please go to Section 2 below):</strong></p>
<p><strong>WARNING:</strong> Make sure that your recorder is OFF and the power adapter is disconnected before removing/installing a hard drive.</p>
<h3>Removing the hard drive</h3>
<p><strong>Step 1.</strong> Power off the system, and unplug all cabling from the system.</p>
<p><strong>Step 2.</strong> Turn the recorder over, then remove the 6 bottom panel screws as shown in the image below.</p>

<p><strong>Step 3.</strong> Turn the recorder over carefully, then lift the top panel so you can access the hard drive.</p>
<p><strong>IMPORTANT:</strong> The wiring to the front panel button and USB port runs along the top panel of the recorder. When separating the top panel, rest it carefully beside the bottom panel as shown below.</p>

<p><strong>Step 4.</strong> Now carefully remove the power and SATA cables from the hard drive as shown below.</p>

<p><strong>Step 5.</strong> Carefully pick up the hard drive to lift the bottom panel, being mindful of the sharp edges of the bottom panel. Remove the hard drive screws (4×) from the bottom panel. Hold onto the hard drive so it remains in place when all screws have been removed.</p>

<p><strong>Step 6.</strong> If you are not immediately going to install a new hard drive, replace the top panel and the 6 bottom panel screws.</p>

<h3>Installing a new hard drive</h3>
<p><strong>IMPORTANT:</strong> If you are replacing your hard drive, please note that you don&#8217;t need an extra SATA cable. Your recorder is already equipped with one SATA cable inside it which you can use for your new hard drive.</p>
<p><strong>WARNING:</strong> Make sure that your recorder is OFF and the power adapter is disconnected before removing/installing a hard drive.</p>
<p><strong>Step 1.</strong> Insert the 2 hard drive screws closest to the SATA and power ports on the hard drive and tighten them half way. See image below.</p>

<p><strong>Step 3.</strong> Turn the recorder over, then remove the 6 bottom panel screws as indicated in the image below.</p>

<p><strong>Step 4.</strong> Turn the recorder over carefully, then remove the top panel.</p>
<p><strong>IMPORTANT:</strong> The wiring to the front panel button and USB port runs along the top panel of the recorder. When separating the top panel, rest it carefully beside the bottom panel as shown below.</p>

<p><strong>Step 5.</strong> Line the 2 half-inserted hard drive screws with the 2 holes shown in the image below.</p>

<p>Once you have inserted the hard drive screws to their respective slots, it should look like this.</p>

<p><strong>Step 6.</strong> Carefully pick up the bottom panel with the hard drive, being mindful of the sharp edges of the bottom panel. Slide the 2 pre-inserted screws into the locked position, then tighten the screws. Insert and tighten the 2 remaining hard drive screws.</p>

<p><strong>WARNING:</strong> Make sure that your recorder is OFF and the power adapter is disconnected before removing/installing a hard drive.</p>
<p><strong>Step 1.</strong> Power off the system, and unplug all cabling from the system.</p>
<p><strong>Step 2.</strong> Remove the back panel screws (4×). Remove the cover by sliding it backwards.</p>

<p><strong>Step 1.</strong> Insert the 2 hard drive screws closest to the SATA and power ports on the hard drive and tighten them half way.</p>

<p>When either are enabled, Face Detection can detect a <strong>person&#8217;s face</strong> as they enter the camera&#8217;s field of view (FOV) and Mask Detection can detect a <strong>person&#8217;s face without a mask</strong> as they enter the camera&#8217;s FOV.</p>
<p>Face and Mask Detection are disabled by default. To use Face Detection or Mask Detection, you must enable it in the recorder.</p>

<p>There are 6 pins in the RJ45 female connector of the Reolink IP cameras if you open this connector for check. And 4 of them for the data transmission and 2 of them for the power.</p>
<p>If you need to connect them to a new RJ45 female connector, here is the wires order for your reference:</p>
<p>Orange &amp; white to PIN 1;<br />
Orange to PIN 2;<br />
Green &amp; White to PIN 3;<br />
Grey to PIN 4 or 5;<br />
Green to PIN 6;<br />
Purple to PIN 7 or 8.</p>
<p>There are 8 pins in the RJ45 male connector of the Ethernet cable.And if you need to re-arrange the wire order, please follow the below wire order.</p>

<p><strong>Method 1</strong>: You can plug the PoE NVR and the PoE switch to the same router via Ethernet cable. Then plug the PoE cameras to the PoE switch or PoE NVR.</p>
<p>In this case, the cameras plugged to PoE switch will obtain IP address from the router and can be added to PoE NVR via LAN. And the cameras plugged to PoE NVR will obtain IP address from the NVR.</p>

<p><strong>Please note</strong>: In this kind of connection, the cameras (except the kit camera of the NVR system) plugged to PoE switch can be connected over the network as separate devices via Reolink Client/App, but the cameras plugged to NVR directly can&#8217;t be connected as separate devices.</p>

<p><strong>Method 2</strong>. You can plug the PoE switch to PoE NVR, then plug the NVR LAN port to the router.</p>
<p>In this case, the PoE switch can support maximum 3 cameras, which is limited by the bandwidth of the NVR Ethernet port. (The NVR LAN port is a Gigabit Ethernet port, the other ports are 100Mbps Ethernet ports).</p>
<p>And in this kind of connection, all the cameras will obtain IP address from the NVR, and can&#8217;t be connected as separate devices.</p>

<p>This kind of connection is the same with that in <strong>Method 1</strong>. Cameras plugged to PoE switch will obtain IP address from the router, and the cameras plugged to PoE NVR will obtain IP address from NVR.</p>

<p>1. If you find you can not see the camera&#8217;s image on the monitor, it may be because the camera lost wifi connection to NVR. You need to reconfigure the wireless connection again.</p>
<p>2. If you replace the current 4 cameras with other cameras, you need to set up a wireless connection for the new camera again.</p>
<p>3. If you replace a new NVR, you need to set up the wireless connection for every camera again.</p>
<p>Below are the steps to set up a wireless connection.</p>
<p>1. Connect the camera to NVR&#8217;s LAN port by ethernet cable.</p>

The channel should be &#8220;no video source&#8221;.</p>

If this is the first time you are setting these devices up, plug them in one at a time and follow the link in this step to find instructions on how to change their IP&#8217;s. This will ensure you do not have duplicate IP&#8217;s of the default (192.168.1.108)</p>

<p>3. Login to both devices using Internet Explorer. We will open these on two separate tabs. These two IP networks, one wireless and the other wired, will have the following ip scheme for this test:</p>

<li>NVR Wired IP: 192.168.1.144</li>
<li>Wireless Router IP: 192.168.1.1 (SSID: DahuaTraining)</li>
<li>Camera Wired IP: 192.168.1.8</li>
<li>Camera Wireless IP: 192.168.1.118</li>

<p>4. Configure the Wireless Router in it&#8217;s AP/Wireless menu, this is where all of the information that you will need for addressing the wireless camera and NVR begins. The Wireless Router AP is hosting the network for both the wired NVR and the wireless to the camera in this scenario. The Wifi Camera will need an IP address in the range of the DHCP Server, and also withing the default gateway. We will use an IP in the router&#8217;s default range 192.168.1.(100-200) 192.168.1.118. Make sure you have the correct login credentials for this router.</p>
<p>5. Configure the Camera via the Setup-&gt;Network-&gt;TCP/IP and select the wireless Ethernet card.</p>
<p>6. Select DHCP, or Configure the IP address on Static to match the Default Gateway and Subnet mask configured in step 4, then enter in an IP within the DHCP range. For this example we will use our designated IP address from step 3 (192.168.1.118). Then select Save.</p>

<p>7. Navigate on the Camera to Setup-&gt;Network-&gt;WiFi, this is the menu that needs to be used to connect the device to the Wireless Router&#8217;s SSID of DahuaTraining. Select Add SSID and enter the password and select connect, or if the SSID is hidden Manually add the SSID and password. Select refresh to see if you have connected to the AP. After this the Wireless camera has been connected to the Wireless Router, but not added to the NVR&#8217;s devices yet.</p>

<p>8. Unplug the Wifi Camera from the Network via the Ethernet cable as it is now connected by wireless. Go to the login page and also check the Config Tool to see if the camera is appearing on the network.</p>

<p>8. Navigate on the NVR to the SETTING-&gt;CAMERA-&gt;REMOTE menu where you can see devices that are connected via wired network. If you see your camera here select the check box and add it, make sure you have the appropriate login information. <p>An internet connected device (camera, DVR, NVR) can be configured to be accessed from outside its local<br />
network. Using an IP address allocated by the internet provider, the end user is able to connect to this device.<br />
Internet services for non-enterprise solutions commonly provide a dynamic IP address to its users. The lack of a<br />
static IP address means the user must reconfigure their device connection settings every time a new IP address<br />
is allocated. Managing multiple devices will prove difficult if IP addresses are constantly changing. This issue can<br />
be solved by using a Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS) Service. A fixed address is assigned by the DDNS<br />
service provider that can be used to connect to the desired device. The device itself must be configured with the<br />
DDNS credentials so that it may automatically update the service with the newly allocated IP address. Through<br />
this service, devices under dynamic IP addresses can maintain static addresses. Hikvision products support a<br />
number of third party DDNS services in addition to HiDDNS/Hik-Connect.</p>
<p>Supported Third Party DDNS Services<br />
Third party DDNS service support for Hikvision products consists of both free and subscription based services:<br />
1. No-IP (Free, optional subscription available).<br />
2. DynDNS (Subscription required).<br />
Limitations<br />
Third party DDNS services may provide different features based on subscription tiers. For example, No-IP’s free<br />
subscription requires confirmation of hostnames every 30 days in addition to a limit of 3 hostnames.<br />
Depending on the end user’s setup and application, not all subscription tiers may be appropriate.<br />
Discretion<br />
User interface may not be identical to the instructions shown below depending on the product, firmware<br />
version, and subscription tier. However, the information and settings required to setup third party DDNS<br />
services are similar across all supporting products.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>How to Use Dynamic DNS with ACTi Cameras There are surveillance solutions that consist of single cameras scattered over a wide territory, therefore each of those cameras should be connected to Internet in order to become accessible by Control Center. For example, the chain stores, bus stops, currency exchange booths, etc.</p>
<p>In such cases, one of the practical networking solutions is to use DSL modem on camera site and let the camera obtain the dynamic IP address from the Internet Service Provider through the DSL modem using PPPoE connection, which is much more cost-effective than applying for static IP address.</p>
<p>However, there is one drawback in this solution – in order to do the remote surveillance from the Control Center, the NVR Server in the Control Center has to know the address of the IP camera at all times in order to get the video stream from the camera. If the camera’s network connection has been reset for any reason, the camera will get a new IP address through DSL Modem, which may be different from the previous one. NVR will not know about this change, and the connection between the camera and NVR will fail.</p>
<p>The good news is &#8211; there exists a solution that makes sure the NVR can find the camera even if the camera IP changes frequently. ACTi cameras support Dynamic DNS service that allows frequently changing IP be mapped to a certain unchangeable domain name. The mapping database and its updating engine are hosted in one of the Dynamic DNS servers, most of which offer basic services for free, such as www.dyndns.org.</p>
<p>Every time the IP camera gets an IP that is different from previous one, it notifies the public DDNS Service about the change. The DDNS Service updates its database immediately, mapping the assigned domain name (for example tcm7411.dyndns.org) to the new IP address.<br />
In NVR settings, only the domain name (tcm7411.dyndns.org) is used to identify the camera.</p>
<p>Every time when NVR needs to connect to the camera, it asks from DDNS Service what the current camera’s IP is. The DDNS Service instantly responds to NVR and tells it the camera’s IP. Now NVR will use the IP of the camera to connect to the camera and the video stream from the camera to NVR can be initiated.</p>
<p>As a result, NVR can always find the IP camera regardless of frequently changing IP address of the camera. Since there are so many public DDNS Services available for free, the PPPoE-based connection is really a good and low-cost solution for single-camera sites.</p>
<p>Although the theoretical explanation might be clear by now, you might still want to know the step-by-step procedure of how to set up the PPPoE together with DDNS support.</p>

<p>1. Insert a USB drive (FAT32 format) into the device. Most models of Dahua recorders will have a USB port on the front and rear of the unit, either can be used.</p>
